Controversial “Mansion of Blood” is a hilarious, campy “who-done-it” horror comedy-film set in an abandoned mansion built in 1912 and renovated by eccentric millionaire Mason Murphy who invites everyone in the small town of River Ridge to a wild lunar eclipse viewing party to celebrate his new home. When a guest who is a witch loses control of a spell she conjured up to speak with her deceased boyfriend, all hell breaks loose – literally. Horror fans are in for a treat when anything becomes possible and the guests’ nightmares become reality when each is killed in every way imaginable – by accident, murder, zombie, werewolf, ghost, little people, monster, demon, evil creature and other classic horror genre figures. The film’s sequel, Elusive Entertainment’s Revenge of the Mayan Curse is currently in pre-production.

“Mansion of Blood” had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February at a special screening for the unique genre of American comedy-horror films. The film stars Carla Laemmle (Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera) the niece of the founder of Universal Pictures Carl Laemmle, known as the father of the horror motion picture genre including films such as Dracula, Werewolf, Frankenstein and Creature From the Black Lagoon, and a remarkable cast of hundreds that answers the burning question, how many ways can the guests at a haunted mansion be murdered in order for someone to steal an inheritance?
