Dragonfest will be returning home, back to the city of Glendale, CA at the Civic Auditorium. The same location it used to be held a long, long time ago. We are thrilled that the city of Glendale has opened its arms to cultural events like this one.
DATE: Saturday, August 6, 2022 (One-day event)
TIME: 11 AM TO 6 PM
LOCATION: Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale, CA 91208
Dragonfest is a charity event and all funds received go to support the Martial Arts History Museum, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is their goal to relocate to a larger facility and open more doors to humanitarian events.
Fantastic performers on stage during the event. Some from the past and some brand new. Enjoy the magic of the Magic Castle’s Joel Ward, the kung fu action of Siu Lum Pai, the Chinese Lion Dancing, Chinese face changing, Japanese Dance, Q&A from a variety of stars, an auction to raise funds for the museum and more.
The Martial Arts History Museum, now in its 23rd year, is the first and only museum dedicated to the preservation of the history, art, culture and tradition of the martial arts. It is the only place where the history of our pioneers, founders, champions and leaders will be presented to this and future generations. Because of Covid, our pioneers are passing away faster than ever before so we need your help. We need to expand to a 15,000 square foot facility; big enough to have a theater and display room and give tours to the schools. Dragonfest is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we encourage your sponsorships to keep history alive.
The museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization so your booth purchases, sponsorships and tickets sales are tax-deductible.
