HIS VISION IS TO CREATE A HUGE CLASSICAL/EDM CROSSOVER HIT RECORD

FOR THE SUBWAY SOPRANO

Los Angeles- Joel Diamond, record producer and founder of Silver Blue Records, has offered the mysterious Russian subway opera singer Emily Zamourka a major recording contract after seeing her viral video. Diamond has produced 36 Gold & Platinum records, has 2 Grammy nominations and has held key executive positions in major music companies, including Sony.  His vision for Emily is to create a new and innovative Classical/EDM crossover hit record. Says Diamond, “Emily’s story is what dreams are made of and I never turn my back on a dream.”  The contract is attached.

About Joel Diamond:

Joel Diamond has produced 36 Gold & Platinum records and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

Joel had the highly imaginative vision and created the career of The Five Browns, five siblings who all attended Juilliard Music school at the same time. He produced and managed The Five Browns and landed them their first recording deal on Sony Records; resulting in 3 consecutive #1 albums on the Billboard Classical charts. Through Diamond’s tenacity, The Five Browns became the “First Family of Classical Music.” They appeared on every major TV show including Oprah, Ellen Show, 60 Minutes, etc. and enjoyed “sold out” concerts all over the world. Through Diamond’s personal contacts, he also landed them a major book deal.

Certainly one of the apexes of Diamond’s career has been the 12 successful albums and 109 recordings he has produced for legendary recording artist, Engelbert Humperdinck. “After The Lovin’,” a 100% owned Diamond copyright, was nominated twice for a Grammy, achieved platinum album and gold single status, won most played “Jukebox Record of the Year” award, top 10 best sheet music seller of all time, #1 Country record, and has surpassed the 4 million radio/TV performances as logged by BMI.

An interesting occurrence in Europe happened for Diamond with superstar actor David Hasselhoff. David starred on Knight Rider, which was followed by BayWatch – the “most watched TV show” on the planet according to Guinness. After being turned down by virtually every U.S. record label, it was only Diamond who believe in David’s talent, ability, and potential career in music. Joel Diamond personally underwrote and produced David’s first recording session that resulted in making David’s dream come true. Little did anybody think that one year later after the recording, that David would achieve Gold & Platinum status in Germany (outselling Michael Jackson & Madonna) on his first album on Silver Blue Records. This led to David Hasselhoff, also known as The Hoff, being voted the #1 recording artist in Germany, selling literally tens of millions of records, earning a cool $60,000 per performance and to this day selling out stadiums around the world.

An advanced copy of a song from a forthcoming Broadway Show, La Cage Aux Folles, given to Diamond by good friend, the late Allen Carr, would be another turning point in Diamond’s career. In a matter of days upon hearing this song, he was in the studio producing “I Am What I Am” with recording artist Gloria Gaynor. It became an instant International success on Silver Blue Records, and is to this day, officially the Gay Anthem around the world. It is also Gloria’s biggest single since her classic of “I Will Survive”.

Joel has held executive positions in major music companies and is responsible for negotiating David Geffen’s first million dollar deal at Sony Music and also gave Tommy Mottola his first job in the music industry as Diamond’s assistant.
