The Jeffrey Foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life for special needs children and their families through the development of community-based therapeutic, recreational, educational, and social programs. We are currently celebrating our 43rd year in Los Angeles.
The Jeffrey Foundation programs have benefited thousands of special needs children and their families. The typical Jeffrey Foundation family consists of a single working mother, one special child and two brothers or sisters. Some of the special needs children we serve suffer from diseases such as muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, and autism. Others are victims of abuse, crippling accidents, sight, speech and hearing impediments or in utero drug exposure. No matter what the challenge a child faces, the Jeffrey Foundation is dedicated to helping all children to reach their highest potential, supporting the development of a healthy family environment, and helping parents cope with the constant strain of caring for a special needs child.
